Days in Tokyo – Ueno Park (Sakura Sakura~~)

Ueno Park is also one of Tokyo’s most popular and lively cherry blossom (Sakura) spots with more than 1000 cherry trees lining its central pathway. The cherry blossoms are usually in bloom during late March and early April.

It is early March and hence, I am trilled to see that there are some sakura trees that have already bloomed! 😀

Of cos, I can’t miss out taking photos with the cherry blossom trees. The Japanese are really very helpful and friendly. An ojisan sees us happily taking photos for each other, and he offers to help the 3 of us to take a photo.

I guess the Japanese are really proud of their country and what nature beauty that Japan has to offer. And hopes that tourist like us could enjoy as much over here and bring back good memories. 🙂

This is the Sakura Central Pathway in Ueno. I can imagine if all the cherry blossom trees are in full bloom, how pretty will it be.  During the peak period of cherry blossoms, this pathway will become crowded and full of locals / tourists having picnic under the sakura trees.

I tell myself that I should at least once, visit this place again during the full sakura bloom and enjoy a picnic under them. 😛
